USA... week four (grandma's)

If you were one of the 207 inhabitants of Taunton, Minnesota last month, you may have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of every member of the Tuttle tribe raking leaves and picking up twigs, at not one but two houses in town (there aren't many houses)! Or, you may have caught us watching Little House on the Prairie (with subtitles on), eating pork and Belgian potatoes (w/ spinach) & the most amazingly delicious chicken noodle soup. We even got to eat Grandma's apple pie! Not only that, but we were delighted to hear stories from Belgium during the time of the Nazis, then how Grandpa Albert and Grandma Rachel immigrated to the United States after the war and how they started a farm. But most exciting of all, while we were there Micah got a call to help out on a real farm.     ...to be continued next time. ;)

Love the pictures.... yayay Taunton has 8 cross streets,1 bar, 1 cafe,a Bank, grain elevator and a well used Town hall..with Grandma Rachel being the oldest person in town (85) and very much appreciating the help on her yard.
Glad you got to visit her and made Taunton a Busy town for the day. Perhaps you will be mentioned in the local paper..heheheh
